the Paris Selmer Sax
This beautiful specimen has been languishing in the cupboard for over ten years now...my cousins had a stint at learning the saxophone, but none of mine have shown much interest - a shame! It belonged to Jean-Jacques, I guess it travelled from Paris to Noumea. The serial number indicates it dates from 1967. There are not too many Selmer soprano saxophones around it seems, after I did a bit of a search on the internet, so I think it's quite rare. Apparently the Mark VI is most sought after by the big sax players. Anyone want to make me an offer?
